Day 62

My meditation this morning was cut a bit short, at around 15 minutes. Later in the morning, I was able to kind of top up with a 5-minute tong-len practice in a public place. The essence of this practice is to use the breath to generate compassion. Breathe in the suffering of others, breathe out lovingkindness. Extract all the negative emotions and illusions from others, shine positivity on their beings. In this way, our hearts open to others and to all the possibilities of making their lives a little easier, a little happier, a little more positive. The breath, which we carry with us everywhere, is a wonderful thing, isn't it?
